All orders and purchases made through this website are subject to the Online Shopping Terms and Conditions outlined below. These Online Shopping Terms and Conditions may change from time to time without prior notice, at our discretion.

Pricing

All prices listed on this website are in Australian Dollars and all charges will be processed in Australian Dollars. If you are under 18 years of age, you must obtain a parent/guardian’s consent prior to using www.bestdressedpets.com.au

All prices displayed and products and services offered or to be supplied on www.bestdressedpets.com.au are subject to change without notice.

Log In

All customers placing an order with the Best Dressed Pets are required to log-in. This is to ensure that you are able to track current and previous orders.  

Making a Purchase

Orders may be made online using the secure Paypal method.

Changing your order

You cannot cancel or modify an order online once the checkout process has been completed. If there is a mistake in your order, please notify us immediately and quote your Order number so we can rectify any errors prior to processing your order.

Sizing

Please do not assume your pet is the same size in every product, we stock many brands with differing sizing classifications so there may be variations between products. There is no such thing as a standard size when it comes to dog clothing. A skinny 5kg dog will wear a different size than a thicker 5kg dog. If you are buying a gift, ask the pet owners their sizes (neck, chest, length). Puppies will outgrow clothing and apparel, so please take this into consideration prior to making a purchase.

Payment & Security

Best Dressed Pets currently only accepts payment via a PayPal account. Paypal is the most secure payment method on the internet where no card number or financial information is recorded. With Paypal you don’t have to use a credit card, you can link your Paypal account with your general Bank account and fund payments by transferring small amounts of money back and forth whenever you wish to make a purchase. Shipping

Shop online securely with Best Dressed Pets and get a $9 flat rate shipping* to anywhere in Australia.   If you would like your order to get to you sooner, we also offer an Express delivery service of $12* per order which aims to deliver your parcel by the next business from when dispatched (subject to metropolitan areas only).

Best Dressed Pets aims to ship all items within 24 hours of payment being identified into our Paypal account (Monday to Friday.)

*Excludes large or bulky items. Eg. Beds, Strollers, Large Bowls.

If your package exceeds this price we will call you before despatch to confirm the price. Special rates may apply for bulky items and will be indicated against the product. If an order is returned, refused or unclaimed by the customer due to customer refusal, customer negligence/absence or by customer providing incorrect shipping information the customer will be contacted by phone and payment will be required to re-send the item.

Out of Stock Items / Back order policy

Where Best Dressed Pets receive an order for a product which cannot immediately be dispatched or is out of stock, we will contact you with an indication of the likely waiting time for the product you ordered. We will keep you updated as to the expected shipping time. We automatically ship all of our stock items once they become available. In the event that an item is permanently unavailable Best Dressed Pets will offer a full refund or a credit voucher to the value of the goods.

Returns Policy

Please note that we can only refund your item(s) if they are unused, still tagged and returned within 14 days from date of dispatch. You may also exchange items up to 14 days from date of dispatch. Sale Items are excluded for refund or exchange unless proven faulty. Please note the condition of all returned items must meet management’s standards for resale before credits or refunds will be issued. All returns should be clearly marked with your name, address and order number. Shipping costs of any returned goods remain the responsibility of the customer. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit, all returned goods are the responsibility of the customer until they reach us.

Unfortunately Best Dressed Pets cannot confirm receipt of your return. We recommend that you use a secure postage method, such as recorded delivery. This way you will be able to trace your delivery. We CANNOT accept liability for non-receipt of returned goods.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES GIVEN ON CLEARANCE OR SALE STOCK

  • Please do not contact us and ask for an exception to our return policy. Whether you read our return policy or not, once you have checked out, you have agreed to it. You are responsible for cost to reship items back to us for a return or exchange. Returns will be at our sole discretion and we reserve the right to make a final decision about the condition of all items returned to us.
  • You are held responsible for any damage caused by your pet to products.
  • Please return all items in the condition you would like to receive your items. You do not want to receive the above pet products used, so please respect our return policy.

Defective Product

Best Dressed Pets endeavours to ensure that all products are free from damage and defects. If however an item is damaged or faulty, you must notify us of any defects within 48 hours of delivery for us to consider an exchange of defects. Anything beyond the 48 hour time frame will be considered usual wear and tear and we ask that you contact the manufacturer directly and handle the exchange with them directly. If we find that a return was due to misuse, we will not be responsible for replacement.  If your pet chews through clothing, harness, toys, beds, carriers, collars, etc, it is considered normal wear and tear.

If a product is considered to be defective the customer must send back the item to us at Best Dressed Pets, at their cost. Upon arrival Best Dressed Pets will inspect the product and will determine whether or not the product is deemed to be defective.

Complaints & Comments / Claims & Disputes

Claims concerning the product delivered must be lodged within 24 hours following delivery of the product.

Claims or disputes will always be examined with the greatest care. It is expected that the customer is acting in good faith when making any complaint(s). The customer should first contact the company to seek a solution.
